US Patent Issued to JANSSEN BIOTECH on Sept. 22 for "Subcutaneous formulations of daratumumab and their uses in treating multiple myeloma" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,742,018, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to JANSSEN BIOTECH INC. (Horsham, Pa.).

"Subcutaneous formulations of daratumumab and their uses in treating multiple myeloma" was invented by Richard Jansson (Spring House, Pa.) and Vineet Kumar (Spring House, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to subcutaneous formulations of anti-CD38 antibodies and their uses."

The patent was filed on Jan. 14, 2026, under Application No. 19/449,144.
