US Patent Issued to James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics on June 2 for "Virtual dental restoration insertion verification" (American, Russian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,646,605, issued on June 2, was assigned to James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics Inc. (Newport Beach, Calif.).

"Virtual dental restoration insertion verification" was invented by Sergey Nikolskiy (Coto de Caza, Calif.) and Fedor Chelnokov (Khimki, Russia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method include digitally determining a virtual insertion path of a digital dental restoration."

The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2022, under Application No. 18/069,740.
