ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,740,841, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to Intuitive Surgical Operations Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).

"Computer-assisted teleoperated surgery systems and methods" was invented by Craig Keith Tsuji (San Jose, Calif.) and Edward Paul Donlon (San Jose, Calif.).
