US Patent Issued to International Business Machines on Sept. 22 for "Function-based activation of memory tiers" (Swiss Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,743,604, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to International Business Machines Corp. (Armonk, N.Y.).

"Function-based activation of memory tiers" was invented by Julian Roettger Buechel (Zurich), Manuel Le Gallo-Bourdeau (Horgen, Switzerland), Irem Boybat Kara (Adliswil, Switzerland), Abbas Rahimi (Rueschlikon, Switzerland) and Abu Sebastian (Adliswil, Switzerland).
