ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,869, issued on July 14, was assigned to INTERNATIONAL AIDS VACCINE INITIATIVE (New York) and THE SCRIPPS RESEARCH INSTITUTE (La Jolla, Calif.).
