ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,053, issued on July 14, was assigned to INTEPLAST GROUP Corp. (Livingston, N.J.).
"Production of polymeric film" was invented by Joseph Aguire (Simpsonville, S.C.), Scott Coffey (Whitesburg, Tenn.), Rafael E. Bayona P. (Morristown, Tenn.) and Jiangshan Sun (Simpsonville, S.C.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method and system for production of polymeric film. Radiant heat is applied in a controlled manner to the film to control the heating of the film so that desirable processing, such as annealing may be carried out."
The patent was filed on April 5, 2024, under Application No. 18/627,721.
