ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,299,423, issued on May 13, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Intent-based machine programming" was invented by Brian Cremeans (Hillsboro, Ore.), Marcos Emanuel Carranza (Portland, Ore.), Krishna Surya (Portland, Ore.), Mats Agerstam (Portland, Ore.) and Justin Gottschlich (Santa Clara, Calif.).
