ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,664,114, issued on June 23, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Highly scalable accelerator" was invented by Philip R. Lantz (Cornelius, Ore.), Sanjay Kumar (Hillsboro, Ore.), Rajesh M. Sankaran (Portland, Ore.) and Saurabh Gayen (Portland, Ore.).
