US Patent Issued to Ingenus Pharmaceuticals on June 30 for "Oral solid chlorthalidone compositions" (New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,554, issued on June 30, was assigned to Ingenus Pharmaceuticals LLC (Orlando, Fla.).

"Oral solid chlorthalidone compositions" was invented by Mukteeshwar Gande (Monroe, N.J.), Praveen Reddy Billa (Flanders, N.J.) and Jagatpal Reddy Surikanti (Parsippany, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are solid oral compositions comprising chlorthalidone, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein the chlorthalidone has a Sauter mean diameter ranging from about 8 micro metre to about 14 micro metre.
