ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,593, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, YONSEI UNIVERSITY (Seoul, South Korea).

"Method for manufacturing two-dimensional nanosheets" was invented by Seong Ju Hwang (Seoul, South Korea) and Xiaoyan Jin (Seoul, South Korea).
