ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,536,867, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).
"Gaming system and method for providing dynamic paytable awards" was invented by Thomas Humphrey (Reno, Nev.), Benjamin Holsclaw (Sparks, Nev.) and Kera Skillings (Reno, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Gaming systems and methods which utilize one or more persistent supplemental awards to dynamically modify or otherwise alter one or more awards associated with one or more game outcomes of a paytable."
The patent was filed on Dec. 18, 2023, under Application No. 18/543,885.
