ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,683,829, issued on July 14, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea), Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea) and Industry-University Cooperation Foundation Korea Aerospace University (Goyang-si, South Korea).

"Apparatus for controlling a GCL of an ethernet switch and a method thereof" was invented by Jin Hwa Yun (Seoul, South Korea), Ju Ho Choi (Seoul, South Korea) and Dong Jun Lee (Goyang-si, South Korea).
