US Patent Issued to Hubbell on Oct. 27 for "Weatherproof box with integrated fitting" (Indiana Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 27 -- United States Patent no. 12,776,632, issued on Oct. 27, was assigned to Hubbell Inc. (Shelton, Conn.).

"Weatherproof box with integrated fitting" was invented by Victor Beristany (South Bend, Ind.) and Krzysztof Wojciech Korcz (Granger, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrical box includes an integral conduit receiving port and a weatherproof conduit retention assembly provided in the conduit receiving port. The conduit retention assembly includes a conduit gripping member and a conduit release member."
