ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,626,077, issued on May 12, was assigned to Honeywell International Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Managing lifecycle of products in facilities" was invented by Ankit Singh (Apex, N.C.), Lakshminarayana Paila (Knoxville, Tenn.), Zillery Fortner (Florence, Italy) and Waad Subber (Niskayuna, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Examples techniques for managing lifecycle of products in facilities are described. A current location of a product in a facility is determined based on a signal received from a RFID tag associated with the product. Further, a data indicative of physical conditions at the current location is received from one or more sensors...
