US Patent Issued to Honda Motor on Sept. 22 for "Lawn mower" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,740,508, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Lawn mower" was invented by Fumio Minami (Wako, Japan), Tatsuya Yamazaki (Wako, Japan), Taichi Kubota (Wako, Japan), Yuko Nishi (Wako, Japan) and Shin Murakami (Wako, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lawn mower includes: a cutter blade configured to cut lawn grass; a drive source configured to rotate the cutter blade; a blade accommodating portion that is configured to accommodate the cutter blade and is provided with an opening in a rear portion thereof; and a lid portion provided at the opening in an openable and closable manner."
