ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,119, issued on June 23, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Driving support device" was invented by Daichi Kato (Tokyo) and Satoshi Sadamura (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A driving support device mounted on a vehicle includes a plurality of first control units, and a plurality of second control units of which a support level is lower than that of the plurality of first control units, and the plurality of the first control units start when a first switch is operated, and the plurality of second control units start when a second switch different from the first switch is operated."
