ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,681,589, issued on July 14, was assigned to HIDEEP INC. (Seongnam-si, South Korea).

"Stylus pen having a ferrite core and a wound coil" was invented by Mun Sub Byun (Seongnam-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is a stylus pen including: a ferrite core; and a coil including a plurality of metal wires twisted to have a number of twist turns per unit length of at least n, and wound on an outer surface of the ferrite core."

The patent was filed on Oct. 28, 2024, under Application No. 18/928,374.
