ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,740,649, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to Hest Corp. (Seattle).

"Comforter blanket" was invented by Aaron Alan Ambuske (Seattle), Zac West (Seattle), Mirona Motoc (Powell River, Canada), Hedvig von Beetzen (Vashon, Wash.) and Linsey Gardner (Seattle).
