ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 1 -- United States Patent no. 12,725,943, issued on Sept. 1, was assigned to HARTING ELECTRIC STIFTUNG & Co. KG (Espelkamp, Germany).
"Hybrid contact with label carrier" was invented by Luca Baltruschat (Minden, Germany) and Christof Hermoni (Rahden, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hybrid contact is provided having a first contact part, which is solidly made from metal, and a second contact part in the form of a stamped and bent part, which are connected to each other in a press fit, and wherein a filament connected to a label carrier is fixed in a press fit of the contact parts."
