ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,671,341, issued on June 30, was assigned to Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Three-level zeta asymmetrical half-bridge" was invented by Douglas Araujo Pedroso (Cork, Ireland) and Ignacio Castro Alvarez (Gijon, Spain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A three-level zeta asymmetrical half-bridge for converting a DC input voltage into a DC output voltage comprising an asymmetrical half-bridge, a resonant tank and a zeta converter."

The patent was filed on Dec. 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/394,286.
