ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,451, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to HALDOR TOPSOE A/S (Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark).
"Gas heater" was invented by Peter Molgaard Mortensen (Roskilde, Denmark), Kasper Emil Larsen (Humlebaek, Denmark), Kim Aasberg-Petersen (Allerod, Denmark) and Robert Klein (Roskilde, Denmark).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A heating system and a process for heating a pressurized feed gas is provided, where the heat for the reaction is provided by resistance heating by means of electrical power."
The patent was filed on Dec. 3, 2020, under Application No. 17/782,341.
