According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Electrosurgical devices that reduce surgery time while still adhering to surgical standards are provided. An electrosurgical device can include a tripolar configuration. A primary electrode can be used to generate a vapor pocket. A secondary electrode can be activated after the vapor pocket is generated. The vapor pocket can be steered to be between the primary and secondary electrodes and a surgery target."
