ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,872, issued on June 30, was assigned to Great Lakes Crystal Technologies Inc. (East Lansing, Mich.).

"Variable-temperature vapor deposition process" was invented by Paul Connolly Quayle (East Lansing, Mich.).
