ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,561,557, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to Google LLC (Mountain View, Calif.).
"Meta pseudo-labels" was invented by Hieu Hy Pham (Redwood City, Calif.), Zihang Dai (Pittsburgh), Qizhe Xie (Pittsburgh) and Quoc V. Le (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for training a neural network using meta pseudo-labels. One of the methods includes training a student neural network using pseudo-labels generated by a teacher neural network that is being trained jointly with the student neural network."
