ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,627,188, issued on May 12, was assigned to GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLC (Detroit).

"Electric motor rotor with circulated air cooling" was invented by Shawn H. Swales (Canton, Mich.), Rebecca K. Risko Cattell (Royal Oak, Mich.), Neal Parsons (Novi, Mich.), Edward L. Kaiser (Orion, Mich.), Matthew James Bozich (Warren, Mich.) and Nicholas Mark Sulimirski (Livonia, Mich.).
