ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,671,104, issued on June 30, was assigned to GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLC (Detroit).

"Battery pack for a vehicle and methods and systems for making the same" was invented by Chinmaya Patil (South Lyon, Mich.), John Patrick Spicer (Plymouth, Mich.), Miguel Arturo Saez (Clarkston, Mich.) and Madhusudan Raghavan (West Bloomfield, Mich.).
