ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,590,383, issued on March 31, was assigned to GlobalWafers Co. Ltd. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Synthetic crucibles with rim coating" was invented by JaeWoo Ryu (Chesterfield, Mo.), Carissima Marie Hudson (Saint Charles, Mo.), TaeWon Yuk (Cheonan-si, South Korea) and JunHwan Ji (Cheonan-si, South Korea).
