ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,552,112, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY (Evendale, Ohio).

"Automated fiber placement assembly" was invented by Arthur William Sibbach (Boxford, Mass.), Nicholas Joseph Kray (Mason, Ohio), Elzbieta Kryj-Kos (Liberty Township, Ohio) and Douglas Lorrimer Armstrong (Needham, Mass.).
