ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,686,635, issued on July 21, was assigned to FURUKAWA ELECTRIC Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Colored optical fiber, optical fiber ribbon, optical fiber ribbon cable and method for manufacturing the same" was invented by Kuniaki Ishizuki (Tokyo), Minoru Kasahara (Tokyo) and Mitsuhiro Iwaya (Tokyo).
