ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,616,450, issued on May 5, was assigned to FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. (Bothell, Wash.).

"Panoramic imaging in 2D and 3D ultrasound images" was invented by Bo Zhuang (Redmond, Wash.), Yong Zhou (Woodinville, Wash.) and Jean Tsou (Seattle).
