ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,442,177, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. (Tokyo).
"Booth" was invented by Shu Watanabe (Kanagawa, Japan), Akihide Kawamura (Kanagawa, Japan), Kunichi Yamashita (Kanagawa, Japan), Akira Takahashi (Tokyo) and Yoshihiro Shibanai (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A booth includes an internal space configured to be used by a user, a door which is controlled to unlock in an electric-powered manner when an information is detected based on a user operation, and a monitor screen which is used in order to project an image output from a device brought by the user."
