US Patent Issued to FUJI OIL on June 2 for "Oil/fat composition" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,642,281, issued on June 2, was assigned to FUJI OIL Co. LTD. (Osaka, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention addresses the problem of providing an edible oil or fat that is usable for any kinds of foods, has an improved oxidation stability and shows a good flavor. A tea extract and sorbitol are stably dispersed in an oil or fat. Thus, the oxidation stability can be improved without increasing the content of the tea extract."
