ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,548,949, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to FOXCONN (KUNSHAN) COMPUTER CONNECTOR Co. LTD. (Kunshan, China) and FOXCONN INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY Ltd. (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands).

"Electrical connector having three rows of contacts and a coupling element interconnecting selected ground contacts thereof" was invented by Fang-Jwu Liao (New Taipei, Taiwan), Jia-Hau Liu (New Taipei, Taiwan) and Jui-Hsianh Chiu (New Taipei, Taiwan).
