US Patent Issued to Fox Factory on July 7 for "Hydraulic cross-linked suspension" (California, Colorado Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,528, issued on July 7, was assigned to Fox Factory Inc. (Duluth, Ga.).

"Hydraulic cross-linked suspension" was invented by Ivan Tong (San Diego), Connor Randall (Salida, Colo.) and Rick Strickland (Watsonville, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein is an accumulator comprising a cylinder, and an internal floating piston. The internal floating piston divides the cylinder into a spring chamber and a gas chamber, and the spring chamber allows fluid to flow. The accumulator further comprises a negative spring disposed in the spring chamber."

The patent was filed on Feb. 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/113,021.
