US Patent Issued to Fluke on March 17 for "Thermal imager using three-dimensional ultrasound imaging system" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,578,231, issued on March 17, was assigned to Fluke Corp. (Everett, Wash.).

"Thermal imager using three-dimensional ultrasound imaging system" was invented by Guofeng Che (Beijing), Xugang Chen (Shanghai) and Yan Yuan (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides a thermal imaging system that uses the 3D ultrasound imaging system to transmit outgoing ultrasonic waves and receive incoming ultrasonic waves and then to determine distance data of one or more objects of a target scene based on the incoming waves.
