ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,564,584, issued on March 3, was assigned to Flex Pharma LLC (New Brighton, Minn.).
"Amorphous cabozantinib particles and uses thereof" was invented by Christian F. Wertz (Saint Louis Park, Minn.), Tzehaw Chen (New Brighton, Minn.) and Joseph McTarsney (Shakopee, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Amorphous solid dispersions of the protein kinase inhibitor cabozantinib. The amorphous solid dispersions exhibit chemical and physical stability under stressed conditions. The amorphous solid dispersions may be suitable for use in pharmaceutical compositions for administration to human subjects or patients."
