ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,901, issued on June 30, was assigned to Flagship Brands LLC (Newton, N.C.).

"Knit sock with targeted compression zones, and method for lifting and stretching the plantar fascia" was invented by Hugh Gaither (Charlotte, N.C.), John Gaither (Charlotte, N.C.) and James Richard (Newton, N.C.).
