US Patent Issued to FIRMENICH on June 2 for "Leave-on composition" (New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,642,756, issued on June 2, was assigned to FIRMENICH SA (Satigny, Switzerland).

"Leave-on composition" was invented by Addi Fadel (Plainsboro, N.J.), Artem Kirshon (Plainsboro, N.J.) and Gary Womack (Plainsboro, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns a consumer product comprising at least one compound of formula (I) and, optionally, a personal care active base. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of imparting a long-lasting odor, in particular green odor, to surfaces, such as skin or hair."
