ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,599, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to Fina Technology Inc. (Houston).

"Thin single-site catalyzed polymer sheets" was invented by Michael McLeod (Houston), Fengkui Li (Houston) and Russell McDonald (Humble, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Thin polymer sheets and used thereof are described. A polymer sheet can include greater than 90 wt. % of a single-site catalyzed polyolefin (PO) and have a thickness of at least 0.0254 cm. The sheet can be used to produce molded articles."

The patent was filed on April 26, 2022, under Application No. 17/729,682.
