ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,320,724, issued on June 3, was assigned to Exentis Knowledge GmbH (Stetten Ag, Switzerland).
"Shaped body and method for producing a shaped body" was invented by Srdan Vasic (Stetten, Switzerland) and Rafael Schmitt (Stetten, Switzerland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Shaped body, in particular for a pressure sensor, having a membrane and having a supporting section supporting the membrane, the membrane being produced at least in sections from a ceramic material by means of additive manufacturing, in particular 3D screen printing, and having at least in sections a thickness of less than 0.5 mm."
