ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,606,597, issued on April 21, was assigned to Evaxion Biotech A/S (Horsholm, Denmark).

"Vaccines targeting Pseudomonas aeruginosa" was invented by Niels Iversen Moller (Horsholm, Denmark) and Andreas Holm Mattsson (Horsholm, Denmark).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Immunogenic proteins from Pseudomonas aeruginosa as well as nucleic acids, vectors and transformed cells useful for expression of the proteins. Also disclosed are methods for prophylaxis of infection with Pseudomonas aeruginosa using the proteins, nucleic acids, vectors or transformed cell."
