ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,733, issued on June 30, was assigned to Ergon Inc. (Flowood, Miss.).

"Drilling fluid compositions comprising a polymerized biorenewable oil" was invented by Selim Erhan (Sugar Land, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A drilling fluid composition is provided herein.
