ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,293, issued on June 30, was assigned to Epsilon Medical Inc. (Tokyo) and UNIVERSITY OF TSUKUBA (Ibaraki, Japan).

"Apparatus used to detect or stimulate activity of nerve tissue" was invented by Yuji Matsumaru (Tsukuba, Japan).
