ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,680,014, issued on July 14, was assigned to Eden GeoPower Inc. (Somerville, Mass.).

"Electro-hydrofracturing using electrically conductive proppants and related methods" was invented by Paris Smalls (Boston), Mehrdad Mehrvand (Somerville, Mass.), Ammar Alali (Cambridge, Mass.) and Marybeth Lundquist (The Woodlands, Texas).
