According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Begonia plant named 'EC-BEGO-2503' is disclosed, characterized by glossy leaves with a unique pattern created by lighter colored veins. Foliage has a distinct bright yellow-green coloration surrounding venation on both upper and lower surfaces. Plants have compact habits, and flower from spring to autumn. The new cultivar is a Begonia, typically used as an ornamental plant."
