ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,624,186, issued on May 12, was assigned to Eastman Chemical Co. (Kingsport, Tenn.).

"Chemical recycling of plastic purge materials" was invented by Bruce Roger DeBruin (Gray, Tenn.), Michael Paul Ekart (Kingsport, Tenn.), Anne-Martine Sherbeck Jackson (Jonesborough, Tenn.), Nathan Mitchell West (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Zhufang Liu (Kingsport, Tenn.).
