ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. PP37,484, issued on June 23, was assigned to Early Morning LLC (Greendale, Ind.).
"Peony plant named 'RTPIV 791-28'" was invented by Thierry Rat (Gimont, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct variety of peony plant with light pink flowers with a creamy yellow shade; a medium-sized perennial herbaceous shrub with vigorous yet compact growth that is floriferous due to numerous secondary buds and that propagates very easily by root clump divisions, is disclosed."
The patent was filed on July 1, 2025, under Application No. 19/257,432.
