US Patent Issued to Dow Global Technologies on April 14 for "Method for reactivating a precious metal iron catalyst and performing a chemical reaction" (Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,695, issued on April 14, was assigned to Dow Global Technologies LLC (Midland, Mich.).

"Method for reactivating a precious metal iron catalyst and performing a chemical reaction" was invented by Ademola D. Idowu (Lake Jackson, Texas) and Brian Cramm (Lake Jackson, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Catalytic activity of a spent precious metal-iron catalyst is restored by combining the spent catalyst with an iron (III) compound.
