ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,799, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Doosan Bobcat North America Inc. (West Fargo, N.D.).
"Secondary airflow paths for air compressors" was invented by David Rowe (Clemmons, N.C.) and Tuan Diep (Charlotte, N.C.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A secondary airflow path can be provided for a compressor of a compressor system. The secondary airflow path can provide pressurized air to a boost port in communication with a closed compression cell of the compressor."
The patent was filed on April 4, 2024, under Application No. 18/627,207.
