US Patent Issued to DISCO on July 14 for "Cleaning assembly" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,830, issued on July 14, was assigned to DISCO Corp. (Tokyo).

"Cleaning assembly" was invented by Masaru Nakamura (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cleaning assembly includes a substrate having a lower surface to be held on a holding unit disposed in a processing apparatus and a cleaning member disposed on an upper surface of the substrate. A suction surface of a conveying unit is cleaned by an action of the cleaning member in a state in which the cleaning assembly is held on the holding unit."
